how to repeat a set of midi playback while modeling the sound

I need to travel a lot without bring midi controller. I hope I can record the midi and just let it playback. mean while i can focus on tweaking or model the sound patch but I couldn't find any related features.

in simple, Is there any method I can have midi loopback in mainstage?
